About

Nearly two decades of crafting visual stories.

My career in the television and film industry began in 2007 at a local television station in Malta, where I started as a studio cameraman. Over the following 12 years, I worked my way through various roles, developing my skills as a news cameraman, production cameraman, and live television director.

During this time, I covered news and current affairs, filmed documentaries and drama productions, and directed live television programmes. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in visual storytelling, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in both studio and on-location environments.

In 2017, I further expanded my knowledge of cinematography and filmmaking by attending a professional course at the MetFilm School in London, where I refined my understanding of cinematic storytelling and visual techniques.

After leaving television, I transitioned into freelance videography, producing content for corporate clients, events, and major entertainment productions. Working across a wide range of projects allowed me to further develop my creative and technical abilities, eventually leading me to specialise as a Director of Photography.

My experience spans a diverse range of productions, from television, documentaries, and live broadcasts to commercials, branded content, music videos, corporate productions, and major entertainment events. Throughout my career, I have worked on productions including X Factor Malta, Malta's Got Talent, The Voice Kids Malta, and Muzika Muzika, while continuing to expand my work across both local and international projects.

Along the way, I have collaborated with some of Malta's leading agencies, production companies, organisations, and directors, including Festivals Malta, Greatt, Lo & Behold, MAD, Maka Visuals, Space Studios, and Tribe, as well as directors Gary Bugeja, Lert Theuma, and Steven Levi Vella.

Through these collaborations, I have contributed to campaigns and productions for brands such as McDonald's, Marks & Spencer, Kinnie, Benna, Welbee's, Carisma Collections, and other local and international brands.

In 2025, I expanded my skill set into underwater cinematography, combining my passion for filmmaking with the unique creative and technical challenges of capturing stories beneath the surface.

With nearly two decades of experience behind the camera, I bring a combination of technical expertise, creative vision, and a passion for crafting impactful visual stories that connect with audiences. My goal is simple: to create cinematic visuals that elevate every story, brand, and production I work on.
